OSF HealthCare is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to provide support at OSF St. Katharine Medical Center in Dixon, IL. The role includes preparing and labeling medications, maintaining records, and assisting pharmacists in medication dispensing.
The ideal candidate must have a High School/GED education, a Pharmacy Technician license from IDFPR, and CPhT certification. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and must be at least 18 years old.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
This position will provide pharmacy support to OSF St. Katharine Medical Center in Dixon, IL.
Day shift of 7:00am-4:30pm and one PM shift per week ending between 6:30pm-9:30pm; rotating weekend day shift (every 3rd-5th weekend).
Position Summary: The Certified Pharmacy Technician I assists pharmacists in ensuring medications are promptly, accurately and safely dispensed, delivered, charged and credited. Prepares and labels medications to match orders. Maintains records related to drug use and charges. This position requires the Technician to be proficient in both dispensing oral medications and in preparation of I.V. solutions. Duties may vary by assigned area or shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served, including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Work involves standing, lifting and walking continually while in the process of performing duties.
