Job summary

Endeavor Health Careers is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. This full-time position (32 hrs/week) supports pharmacists, handles prescriptions, and assists with inventory and daily operations.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, IL RPHT license, and PTCB certification; includes rotating day/evening shifts and weekend coverage. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School General Studies required or diploma/ vocational degree.
• RPHT license from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) required.
• CPhT certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and labels medications for final dispensing authorization by the Pharmacists.
• Prepares the unit dose according to refill list for Pharmacists final authorization.
• Conducts rounds to nursing units and prepares medications for transportation rounds.
• Performs pharmacy-related tasks to maintain efficiency and organization.
• Maintain inventory of RX and OTC medications.
