Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure safe and effective medication delivery under a Pharmacist's guidance. You will verify prescriptions, prepare unit-dose medications, and support outpatient operations while maintaining a clean, compliant workflow.

The role requires completion of a Pharmacy Technician program with hospital experience and CA licensure upon hire, plus potential sterile compounding experience.

Qualificações

• Completed Pharmacy Technician program and 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• CA Pharmacy Technician license required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers medications to designated areas accurately and efficiently.
• Fills and bills patient cassettes accurately and processes charges quickly.
• Fills stock and unit-dose medications accurately and timely.
• Completes outpatient pharmacy functions, including refills with physicians.
• Stocks take-home area, shelves and medication bins.
• Performs IV preparation with sterile technique; competency within 12 months.
