Job summary

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Pharmacist Technician 2 to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate patient records. You will support compounding tasks, prepare labels, stock supplies, and help with training activities within a dynamic health system.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, a State of FL Pharmacy Technician license, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and preparing labels for unit doses.
• Input and verify prescription, refill, and patient information; maintain records.
• Receive and stock incoming meds and supplies; assist with basic compounding.
• Provide mentorship and training support for junior technicians and students.
