Job summary

Orlando Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support distribution and all pharmacy operations, including aseptic techniques and the use of Orlando Health software.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication handling and timely patient service. A high school diploma and Alabama registration are required, with 1–4 years of technician experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
• Greater than one year up to four (4) of experience as a pharmacy technician

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures
• Operates the equipment required for pharmacy procedures safely
• Assists Pharmacist with medication distribution including aseptic techniques
• Maintains USP 797 standards and other regulatory required documentation
• Participates in the training of new pharmacy technicians
