Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II/Tech I-III to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. You will operate under the supervising pharmacist and must follow all regulatory standards for patient safety at Mercy.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Missouri registration as a Pharmacy Technician or enrollment by first day, and potential CPhT certification. AFT orientation and compliance with the pharmacy's procedures are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy Tech registration or willingness to submit by first day of work, incl. fingerprints for FBI background check.
• CPhT certification preferred for Tech II/III; one year of relevant pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow standards and federal, state, and local laws for care and safety of customers and patients.
• Support supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for patient care and safety.

Education
