Job summary

ProMedica's Fostoria Community Hospital Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, and to maintain drug inventory and patient records.

You will accept new orders from prescribers, enter information into the electronic record, and prepare and affix labels. This is a full-time, days-shift position.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 18 years of age, with active Ohio or Michigan licensure or intern status as noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or intern license with P1 status.
• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician intern license with P1 status.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Accept new orders from prescribers and enter them into the electronic system.
• Prepare and affix labels to medications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Pharmacy Technician License OR Michigan Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P1 status in schooling if working in Michigan
