Job summary

Ward Road Pharmacy in Arvada, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and packaging, and to enter prescription data into our pharmacy systems accurately.

The role supports unit-dose and automated dispensing, processes medication returns, and helps ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety procedures. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; compensation is $22–$23 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to maintain licensure and comply with regulations.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in medication handling.
• Experience with pharmacy software and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, filling, labeling, and packaging.
• Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy software systems.
• Prepare and package medications for delivery to facilities.
• Support unit-dose, blister pack, and automated dispensing processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per regulations.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize medication inventory.
• Answer incoming calls and provide basic customer service to facilities.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient confidentiality.
• Participate in training and competency development.
