Job summary

Qualifications

• Active KY Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical training.
• 0–2 years in healthcare, clinical setting, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label patient medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with drug procurement, preparation, and distribution per regulations.
• Provide customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure timely availability and relocation of medications for patient care units.
• Maintain accurate records for medication preparation, inventory, and billing.
• Process cash transactions, refunds, and insurance claims following guidelines.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, and remove outdated or unused medications.
• Perform quality control and document workload activities.
• Support training and education of trainees, students, and observers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
