Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals to join UK HealthCare's growing retail pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Senior Technician I/II will fill, bill, and dispense prescriptions, handling refills, renewals, and new prescriptions at patient-facing or support stations as allowed by KY Board of Pharmacy law.

Some advanced functions may require CPhT certification and onboarding training.

Responsibilities

• Fill, bill, and dispense prescriptions.

• Provide training and technical support for ambulatory pharmacy locations.
• Schedule technical staff on a daily basis.
• Interact with patients, faculty, staff and community members.
