Mercy in Springfield, VA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I - Retail to support pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. You'll work with experienced pharmacists, gain hands-on experience with robotic dispensing systems and automated cabinets, and contribute to safe, accurate operations while delivering excellent patient service and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience or willingness to obtain Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Fingerprinting and FBI background check per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Support safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.
• Utilize advanced pharmacy technologies, including robotic dispensing systems and automated dispensing cabinets.
• Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Deliver outstanding service to patients and customers.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems and workflow technologies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
