Job summary

Lumicera Health Services in Germantown, MD is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and verifying information. You will primarily handle patient and prescriber communications and assist with the dispensing workflow under the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

Responsibilities include obtaining prescription details, translating information for dispensing, and helping ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and final checks before shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; National CPhT per state requirements
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience
• Participate in compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively with other employees

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information
• Manage queues and process oldest orders first
• Ensure correct shipment of the specialty pharmacy orders
• Assist with inventory including ordering, receipt, verification, and stocking
