Job summary

Endeavor Health's Highland Park location seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists, enter prescriptions, and support daily operations in a hospital pharmacy setting.

The role requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and a High School Diploma, with CPhT preferred and certification within two years. Rotating 6am/7am start to 3pm and 3pm-11:30pm shifts, full-time, with weekends and holidays rotation.

Qualifications

• Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must be obtained within two years of licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience preferred; retail experience for retail roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and labels medications for dispensing by Pharmacists.
• Assembles unit-dose meds and supports automated dispensing systems.
• Conducts rounds to nursing units and prepares meds for transport.
• Performs pharmacy tasks to maintain efficiency and organization.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of RX and OTC medications.
