Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I - Retail for Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. This per diem role supports pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing and patient record maintenance.

Rotating shifts and travel to other Endeavor Health locations are required. You must hold an Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license and a CPhT certification, with the certification window within 2 years of licensure.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred; retail experience preferred for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
