Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I - Retail at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. This per diem role involves rotating shifts from 8:45 am to 7 pm, with travel to other Endeavor Health outpatient pharmacy locations as needed.

The role requires an Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a CPhT certification. Previous hospital or retail experience is preferred for this retail position.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must pass PTCB or Board-approved exam within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago IL
• Per Diem (As needed)
• Hours: Rotating Shifts Monday-Saturday 8:45 am - 7 pm.
• Travel Required:Yes. Floats to other Endeavor Health outpatient pharmacy locations as needed.

What you will need:

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• Education: High School Diplomaor equivalent
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
• Skills: N/A
