Summary of Job Duties:

The Pharmacy Technician I PRN will assist with dispensing functions, tasks, and duties to provide timely patient service. Under supervision of the Pharmacist, they will support day-to-day dispensing operations, including medication gathering, data research in EPIC, compounding, stock maintenance, and other related duties. The technician will prioritize work based on immediate needs and work as part of a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy Technician License by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Math Skills
  • 1 year pharmacy technician experience relevant to the hiring area (retail, hospital, etc.)

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Filling prescriptions, selecting drugs, preparing compounded medications, IV fluids, and managing inventory.
  • Adhering to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
