If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the healthcare field, we want you to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician ! You'll be working directly with a licensed clinical pharmacist to help maintain the institution's drug distribution system and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
Sterile & Non-Sterile Product Prep : You'll play a key role in preparing sterile and non-sterile products with precision and care.
Repackaging Medications : Repackaging medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Stock Replenishment : Keeping our automated dispensing cabinets stocked and organized to ensure quick access when needed.
Inventory Control : Manage inventory, including controlled substances, while maintaining accurate records.
Third-Party Billing : Submitting third-party payor bills accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pharmacy Experience : Pharmaceutical work experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and products are preferred.
Computer Skills : Previous experience entering information into computers, with strong typing skills.
Communication : Excellent verbal communication skills to discuss work issues and tasks with coworkers.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds to move cases.
Driving (if applicable) : If driving is required, you must meet the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and maintain compliance as a condition of employment.
