Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas Inc in Iola, KS seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support the clinical team by delivering medications prescribed by providers and verified by a licensed pharmacist; the role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness and friendly service to patients.

You will process prescriptions in the computer system, assist with inventory, confirm program eligibility, and comply with CHC/SEK policies.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Kansas Pharmacy Tech License required.
Completes all required continuing education.
Successful completion of Pharmacy Technician I checklist within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

Provides friendly, professional impression to patients, visitors, and staff.
Operates cash register and processes payments and deliveries.
Stocks new inventory and removes expired items from shelves.
Processes prescriptions in the computer system and screens for program eligibility.
Performs duties in compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.
If working in specialty pharmacy: coordinates and delivers medications to patients and communicates with other pharmacies.
