Mercy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for our retail team. You will assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, while supporting efficient operations and patient safety.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with robotic dispensing systems and automated cabinets, and work in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality patient care. Fortunate individuals will grow skills in a supportive Mercy culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy, or willingness to obtain registration by first day of employment.
• Fingerprinting and FBI background check requirements must be completed.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
• Motivated individuals eager to learn and build a career in pharmacy are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Support safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.
• Utilize robotic dispensing systems and automated cabinets.
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Deliver outstanding service to patients and customers.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems and workflow technologies as needed.
