Job summary
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support safe medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management under a licensed pharmacist.
You will provide courteous service to patients and staff, maintain accurate records, assist in audits, and help ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety standards. Prior hospital experience preferred; on-site role with full benefits.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Knowledge of medication preparation, dispensing and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications under supervision.
- Maintain accurate medication inventory and perform audits.
- Provide courteous service to patients and staff regarding medications.
- Maintain records of orders, dispensing and inventory in compliance with policies.
- Support safety standards and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
