Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Pharmacy Tech Sr to assist the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients across the hospital. The role includes filing, compounding, labeling, and delivering medications with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include entering prescriptions, restocking Omnicell, preparing IV products when needed, and assisting in training new hires.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) per PTCB requirements.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician within 60 days of license application (IL).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years of license issue date (IL).

Responsabilités

• Accurately and safely prepare and label chemotherapy drugs when required.
• Fill and deliver Omnicell restock lists.
• Enter and process new prescriptions and refills.
• Restock and replace trays and kits throughout the facility.
• Prepare IV products using aseptic technique where required.
• Assist in training new hires.
