Job summary

Mercy Hospital St Louis - Lobby Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding and dispensing medications, and to uphold the safety of patients in accordance with federal and state laws.

This full-time role offers shifts from 2:00pm–10:30pm or 3:30pm–12:00am, with a path from Tech I to Tech III based on licensure, experience, and certifications. A high school diploma and Missouri registration as a Pharmacy Technician are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence required.
• Licensure via Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician with fingerprints.
• Experience: 1 year pharmacy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for patient safety.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in documentation and processes.
