Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team. You will assist the pharmacist with medication preparation and dispensing under supervision, taking on non-licensed tasks to enable pharmacists to focus on clinical activities.

Preferred candidates have 2–3 years of technician experience, hold PTR registration, and are ready to obtain CPhT or ExCPT within a year. Competitive benefits accompany eligible positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) required at hire/start date.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) required within 1 year of hire/start date.
• Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) - required at hire/start date.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)-required within 1 year of hire/start date
• Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years old
