Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for HomeCare Largo. The role supports the pharmacist with accurate compounding, labeling, and filling of medications, plus stocking and inventory control. Strong communication with patients and clinicians is essential.

Education includes HS/GED and Florida licensure registration. Experience preference is 1 year as a Pharmacy Technician, with the ability to work various day shifts as PRN.

Summary

Under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist is responsible for accurate and timely compounding, labeling, and/or filling of medications. Responsible for additional tasks including stocking, cleaning, inventory control, competency assessment and other duties as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients and clinicians.

Minimum Qualifications

Essential Requirement for team members working in position number 10072. The use of a tight-fitting respirator (TB-Asbestos-etc.) is mandatory.
