Kroger Family of Companies is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to deliver exceptional customer service and support pharmacists in dispensing medications in a compliant, efficient manner.

The role requires maintaining patient privacy under HIPAA, complying with state/federal rules, and assisting with health and wellness services. You will handle data entry, reception tasks, and ensure accurate dispensing while contributing to a safe, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per laws and policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by authorities.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
