Job summary

This role requires completion of high school and a Pharmacy Technician certification; hospital experience and PTCB/ICPT certification are preferred. Minimum one year of experience and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Hospitals prefer candidates with internship hours or hospital exposure.
• PTCB or ICPT certification is desirable.
• Three years of experience may substitute for the certification.

Responsibilities

• Filling and labeling medications, refilling Pyxis, delivering medications to patient care areas.
• Preparing IV admixture solutions and maintaining medication stock levels.
• Answering phone lines and mentoring students under pharmacist supervision.
