Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include filling, labeling, Pyxis refills, IV admixture preparation, and delivering meds to patient care areas.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and be a Registered Pharmacy Technician; PTCB/ExCPT may be required within a year for sterile compounding. Minimum of 1 year hospital technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill and label medications and refill Pyxis.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Prepare IV admixture solutions.
• Answer telephone and direct to appropriate staff.
• Maintain medication stock levels and proper storage.
