Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team under pharmacist supervision. You will fill medication orders, pre-pack, and assist with compounding and dispensing within a modern inpatient/outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB or NHAP Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required.
• 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders for inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Perform non-sterile compounding, labeling and repackaging.
• Prepare cart, tray and kit shipments for discharge or delivery.
• Handle non-sterile hazardous medications and waste disposal.
• Maintain records for controlled substances and stock levels.
• Deliver supplies to patient units and answer inquiries.
