Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club Brunswick, GA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, cash register transactions, and patient services. You will assist pharmacists, process third party claims, and help maintain a compliant, patient-focused pharmacy area.

The role requires meeting state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, and obtaining PTCE/ExCPT within 9 months of joining. Training is provided with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain PTCE (PTCE) or ExCPT within 9 months of job entry.
• Experience with prescription processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases at the register and handle payments.
• Stock and rotate pharmacy merchandise and maintain displays.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment including third-party claims and physician authorizations.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and verify accuracy.
• Provide patient service at drop-off and pickup, resolve issues, and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and complete required paperwork.
