Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician and obtains certification within 9 months.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE or ExCPT) within 9 months of entry.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications.
• Handle third-party insurance claims and patient interactions.
• Maintain pharmacy area and product displays in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Enter prescription data into the TaSCO system and ensure accuracy of records.
