Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient and outpatient medication preparation and dispensing.
The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves stacking, repackaging, IV preparation, Pyxis replenishment, and ensuring medications and tools are available for the clinical team. Responsibilities include accurate dispensing, inventory restock, documentation of waste, and adherence to hospital policies.

Every week the individual will work either one of the following shifts M-F: 530a-2p, 6a-230p, 7a-330p, 730a-4p, 1p-930p or 130p-10p.
They will also be required to work every third weekend on a similar shift as listed above and two holidays a year.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and the direct supervision by staff pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician assists in the preparation and filling of all medications necessary for inpatient and outpatient services. Support all department initiatives and daily workflow by ensuring that the proper medication and tools are available for the clinical team and patients.
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
