Job summary

Muskegon Family Care is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive team in Muskegon, MI. This role includes entering prescriptions in QS1, maintaining patient records in the EHR, and assisting pharmacists with fills and labels.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and Michigan Pharmacy Technician License. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and 401K matching. Schedule: weekdays with rotating evenings and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required.
Three to six months’ related experience and/or training preferred.
Computer and Medical Terminology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Enter prescription orders into QS1 accurately and efficiently.
Create and update patient profiles in the EHR with demographics, allergies, and insurance details.
Count prescriptions per hour accurately and ensure correct prescriptions are provided.
Answer the phone in a timely manner and support pharmacists with filling and labeling.
