Job summary

FL & CO, an independent Newport Beach pharmacy, seeks a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparing medications under a pharmacist’s supervision and to learn compounding. This retail role requires strong attention to detail and patient service in a busy environment near Fashion Island.

Requirements include a California Pharmacy Technician license and a minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience; typically Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years work experience in a pharmacy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Compounding experience a PLUS but training provided.

We are seeking a Full Time - Pharmacy Technician to be a member of our team. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Seeking a motivated and experienced retail pharmacy technician for an independent pharmacy located in Orange County next to Fashion Island who is able to multi-task and adapt well in the pharmacy environment. Must also be willing to learn compounding of medications. Monthly bonus incentives available for qualified technicians.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Label and record dosage information
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Compounding
• Merchandising products
• Check In & Check-Out of prescriptions

Qualifications

Full-Time opening. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays.
