Guardian Pharmacy of Houston, a member of the Guardian family, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Fulfillment to accurately fill and package prescriptions for delivery to customers. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will verify orders, label packaging, and manage inventory in a fast-paced setting in Sugar Land, Texas.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, pharmacy technician licensure/registration, and 1+ year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state requirements vary.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; national cert preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years related experience; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty if any medication does not scan properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply to complete orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and organize stock; remove expired meds as needed.
• Meet established accuracy and productivity standards regularly.
• Collaborate with supervisors/others to keep workflow smooth.
• Keep workstation clean and orderly; replenish stock as needed.
• Comply with laws and policies regarding dispensing medications.

May assist in physical inventory.* Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.* Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.* Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
