Job summary

Southern Pharmacy Services, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Pink Hill, NC. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions for delivery with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state licensure/registration, and preferred national certification. Shifts include 7am–4pm or 9am–6pm with occasional weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty if medication does not scan properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply for orders.
• Maintain inventory at appropriate levels and keep work area neat and orderly.
• Meet pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow smooth.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to dispensing medications.

May assist in physical inventory.* Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.* Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.* Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
