Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician job requires Minnesota registration or intern status.
• Completion of approved technician training program is expected.
• Employer-based training program completion within 12 months of hire is required.
• Ongoing registration and CE to maintain licensure for state boards.
• Pharm.D. program enrollment acceptable for North Dakota locations.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist customers to ensure positive experiences.
• Handle inventory control and both non-sterile and sterile compounding tasks.
• Care for supplies and equipment and manage automation systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist and leadership.

Education

Previous pharmacy technician experience with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy registration pre-2013

Board-approved technician training program

Employer-based technician training within 1 year

Continuous registration with Minnesota Board as Pharmacist Intern

Be enrolled in an accredited Pharm.D. program

North Dakota location pathway to Pharm.D. program
