Job summary

VytlOne in Lutcher, LA is seeking a full-time LA Registered Pharmacy Technician for our Parish Pharmacy. This role focuses on patient interaction and expanding your pharmacy career.

You will adjudicate claims, fill prescriptions, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and deliver outstanding customer service. A LA state registered license is required; national certification preferred, with 2+ years of experience and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a LA state registered pharmacy technician license.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• In good standing with the Louisiana state pharmacy board.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and place completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.
