Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the Liberty Campus Main Pharmacy in Liberty Township, OH. This part-time role offers 1st or 2nd shift with weekend rotation; base pay starts at $21.50/hr with $2.00/hr shift differential and $1.00/hr weekend differential.

Responsibilities include preparing unit-dose medications, non-sterile compounding, outpatient phone triage, insurance adjudication, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• PTCB certification within 18 months of hire is required.
• OH Board of Pharmacy registration within 18 months of hire is required.
• ASHP-accredited program graduate or licensed as a Pharmacy Intern or 6 months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Medication orders: unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses; non-sterile preparation.
• Compounding: non-sterile, non-hazardous medications.
• Phone triage: outpatient pharmacy calls.
• Medical claims: insurance adjudication.
• Inventory management: storage inspections and interaction with dispensing machines.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

PTCB certification within 18 months

OH Board of Pharmacy registration within 18 months
