Safeway in Alliance, Nebraska is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to help ensure accurate prescription processing and a courteous patient experience under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will assist with data entry, medication preparation, and responding to patient inquiries while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Must be 16+ depending on location requirements
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs
• Working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
• Ability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsabilidades

• Assist with processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter data and prepare medications following regulations.
• Answer patient questions and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain records and restock supplies.
• Keep workspace clean and ensure HIPAA compliance.
