Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications within regulatory guidelines.

You will interact with customers, maintain records, restock supplies, and help with daily operations in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or 18+ depending on location requirements.
• Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure as applicable.
• Operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Complete required pharmacy training programs for technicians.
• Know pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA rules.
• Proficient in computer systems and basic math calculations.
• Able to read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and data entry under supervision.
• Prepare medications and ensure accurate labeling and dosing.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean.
• Direct clinical questions to the supervising pharmacist.
• Provide courteous customer service and handle patient inquiries.
