Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations. You will use computerised systems to enter patient data and help manage inventory, while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

Preferred candidates have retail experience, PTCB certification, and strong math/computer skills. The role may require evenings and weekends, with on-site work in Washington state.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior experience with Walgreens (preferred).
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications (preferred).
• Good computer skills (preferred).
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and enter patient and drug information.
• Assist and coach technicians in pharmacy operations (if certified).
• Support inventory management and maintain organzied pharmacy area.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a delightful customer experience.
