Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on location)
• Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Completed required pharmacy training and technician development
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures and HIPAA guidelines
• Basic math calculations and ability to follow instructions
• Availability for varying shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare medications and assist with prescription workflows
• Interact with patients, answer questions, and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist
