Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in pharmacy department duties.
• Process prescriptions by entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and assist with third party claims.
• Assist with inventory management activities: ordering, unpacking, storing, and stock checks.
• Register all related sales on the cash register and handle cash as required.
• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Handle telephone calls related to prescriptions or physicians.
• Assist in coordinating clinical services and interactions with healthcare providers.
• Support pharmacy staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
