Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced retail team. You will assist with prescription processing, verify patient information, and support third-party adjudication while delivering precise, courteous service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pharmacy experience, active Texas CPhT, and familiarity with RxEVO and related systems. This on-site role rewards teamwork, accuracy, and strong communication in a busy health-first environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge of pharmacy management tasks and RxEVO system.
Familiarity with H-E-B SOPs.
Strong communication and telephone etiquette.
Proficiency with MS Office and related systems.

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards.
Handle Rx processing, third-party adjudication, and data entry.
Coordinate Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, and immunizations.
Manage inventory, recalls, and returns; monitor shipments and invoices.
Maintain automated processing equipment and perform calibration tasks.
Ensure PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance; proper prescription delivery procedures.
Support Pharmacy Manager with facility maintenance and 5-S compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
