Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin in Madison, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will enter new and refill prescriptions, communicate with customers by phone, and help ensure accurate dispensing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a pharmacy technician license, and prior pharmacy experience. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Aufgaben

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route as appropriate.
• Complete prescriptions assigned for processing within regular shifts.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy systems).
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order processing as needed.
