Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Madison team. You will enter and process prescriptions in our pharmacy OS, communicate with customers by phone, and support accurate, timely dispensing in a fast-paced setting.

Prerequisites include a High School Diploma or GED, a state license/certification as a Pharmacy Technician, and 2+ years of related experience; PTCB certification is a plus. We offer robust benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license/certification required per state.
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond courteously to their needs.
• Route calls and coordinate with doctors’ offices on refills.
