Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Plainfield, IN. The role requires an active in-state Pharmacy Technician license and national certification (PTCB/NHA). You will assist pharmacists with dispensing, labeling, and packaging, while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications are in the right packets.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials; affix labels on bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels.
• Sort and triage boxes for timely shipping.
• Aid distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work areas.
