Precision Medicine is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Bellmore / Farmingdale, New York. This filling-focused role supports the pharmacy operations team, handling medication preparation, labeling, and packaging with accuracy and efficiency.

You will work under a licensed pharmacist, ensuring timely, compliant medication distribution while collaborating with the operations team to maintain workflow efficiency and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy filling role.
• Active New York registration/credential for the assigned duties.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflows, labeling, and dispensing processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately label, package, and prepare medications for shipment or patient pickup.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of pharmacy workstations and filling areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking and tracking medication supplies.
• Verify prescription information and ensure accuracy before final pharmacist review.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable pharmacy requirements and procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and the operations team to support efficient workflow and turnaround times.
