SpecialtyRx, Inc. is opening a new closed-door pharmacy in Cook County, Illinois. We are seeking motivated Pharmacy Technicians to join our growing team and deliver high-quality care to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

Responsibilities include stocking, restocking, compounding and shipping medications under supervision, with opportunities for career growth and training support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Trainees must be enrolled in a PTCB program to be eligible.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.

• Maintain floor stock and restock/remove expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock for quality control.
• Prepack bulk medications for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to policies.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

About Us

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We take pride in delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services to the communities we serve.

As we prepare to open our new closed-door pharmacy location in Cook County, Illinois, we are seeking motivated and dependable team members to join our growing operation.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working in a Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock to ensure quality control standards.
• Prepack bulk medications prescribed for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Shift Availability

8-hour shifts available Monday–Friday and every other weekend. Available shifts include:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM.
• 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
