Job summary

Grace Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision in a faith-based FQHC in southeastern Kentucky. You will handle data entry, labeling, inventory, and basic patient interactions, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with one year of pharmacy experience preferred; certification is recommended.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and related medical technology.
• Knowledge of metric and apothecary systems of weights and measurements.
• Knowledge of medical safety standards in handling pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of prescription drugs and the dispensing function to check for correctness.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow prescription information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic computations and use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Assists in dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacists’ supervision.
